Job summary

Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Scrub/Circulating Nurse for CVOR Surgical Services. Day shifts available, 36-40 hours per week.

You will perform scrub and circulating duties, assist the operating physician with surgical tasks, monitor patient conditions, and prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures. This role supports comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse required prior to hire date.
• ACLS within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Certified Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
