Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Join a team providing scrub and circulating care for complex cardiovascular surgeries, monitoring patient status, and assisting physicians and anesthesia during critical procedures.
The role requires a Wisconsin RN license, ACLS/BLS as scheduled, and a nursing diploma. OR experience is preferred, with a supportive environment and commitment to patient safety.

Schedule: Rotating Shift | PRN
Perform both scrub functions and handling of instruments and supplies used during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patients during cardiovascular procedures.
Assist operating physicians and anesthesia with accessing and maintaining lines and intubation during cardiovascular procedures.
Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required:
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Minimum of 2 years of recent CV Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, aseptic practice, and patient safety.
Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
