Job summary

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, coordinate treatments, and ensure smooth discharge processes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license in TX upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) certification required.
• Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at admission and ongoing; provide nursing care meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Plan, direct, evaluate and document the care plan and discharge planning with patient/family teaching.
• Prepare patients for treatments, surgeries and diagnostics; report significant changes to the physician.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Provide bedside shift reports with family participation for continuity of care; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and report safety hazards promptly.
