Job summary

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RP will perform essential nursing duties, assess patients, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

The role requires a BSN, TX RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of RN experience. You will work on-site at a leading Texas medical center known for cardiovascular care and oncology

Qualifications

• BSN required and TX RN license active at hire.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Demonstrated competence with RN performance expectations at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and continuously during stay to plan care.
• Develop and document plans of care and assist with transitions of care.
• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures, and ensure safety and comfort.
• Reassess and adjust care plans based on patient progress and clinician input.
• Prepare and deliver bedside reports for continuity of care across shifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to patient safety protocols.
