Job summary

Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab. This full-time, dayshift role includes 36 hours per week with on-call responsibilities at least one day per week and a weekend rotation based on staffing.

You will coordinate unit staffing, supervise nursing staff, and contribute to patient care assignments while ensuring adherence to clinical objectives and quality standards. A licensure to practice in Wisconsin is required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire
• Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if multi-state/Compact State
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned area.
• Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments with population-appropriate care.
• Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
• May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi‑state/Compact State.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

Must at least 3 years of cath lab/IR experience.
