Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI. This night-shift, full-time role involves coordinating patient care across disciplines, implementing care plans, and ensuring orders are followed accurately.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing Diploma, Wisconsin RN license, and ACLS/BLS; PALS is preferred. Minimum 2 years in adult Emergency Department is desired, with opportunities for career growth within Ascension.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire is required.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire is required.
• RN credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date is required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

• TNCC
