Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Rehabilitation department to provide direct nursing care in alignment with policies and protocols.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, document conditions, and support discharge planning while ensuring RN licensure (TN) and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• RN license either Tennessee Board of Nursing credentialed or compact multi-state license.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate discipline across care teams for well-coordinated patient care.
• Document and carry out physician and nursing orders.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One Or More Of The Following Required

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
