Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab - Procedural, located in Pensacola, FL. This day shift, full-time position focuses on coordinating care for cardiac patients and leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow from admission through discharge.

You will implement personalized care plans, monitor patient data, and execute orders with precision to support life-saving interventions and smooth transitions home.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse credential for Florida must be obtained prior to hire date.

• Implement and champion personalized care plans that drive patient recovery and ensure safety at every stage of the medical journey.
• Monitor and interpret patient data to proactively communicate status changes, ensuring the medical team can provide timely, life‑saving interventions.
• Lead the multidisciplinary care team as a central coordinator to guarantee that every department—from pharmacy to therapy—is aligned with the patient’s needs.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as the critical link between clinical strategy and direct patient recovery.
• Coordinate seamless discharge transitions by collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patients have a clear, safe, and supported path home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• Prior ICU or Cath Lab RN experience.
