Ascension Health in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab - Procedural to provide direct patient care, implement care plans, and coordinate the care team. The role requires a Florida RN license and a nursing diploma, with prior ICU or Cath Lab experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and champion personalized care plans that drive patient recovery and ensure safety at every stage of the medical journey.


• Monitor and interpret patient data to proactively communicate status changes, ensuring the medical team can provide timely, life-saving interventions.


• Lead the multidisciplinary care team as a central coordinator to guarantee that every departmentâfrom pharmacy to therapyâis aligned with the patientâs needs.


• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as the critical link between clinical strategy and direct patient recovery.


• Coordinate seamless discharge transitions by collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patients have a clear, safe, and supported path home.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.


• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.

Additional Preferences:

• Prior ICU or Cath Lab RN experience.
