Ascension’s Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct perioperative care in the Cath Lab for adult patients undergoing urgent and elective cardiac catheterization and related procedures.

The role involves real-time hemodynamic monitoring, sedation management, and exacting support for interventional cardiology teams. A BSN is preferred, with BLS current and ACLS desired; the position is full-time and on-site. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire
• Registered Nurse with current licensure required
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or Red Cross) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative care for adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, PCI, and electrophysiology procedures
• Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms in real time; manage sedation and emergency medications
• Operate endovascular equipment, maintain sterile field, and assist interventional cardiologists during high-risk procedures
• Manage post-procedure access sites and bleeding control to prevent complications

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
