Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NY State RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Enrollment in BSN program within 2 years and degree within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient interviews and assesses health status across GI, CV, respiratory, renal and neurologic systems.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team to coordinate procedures and treatments.
• Documents plan of care, assessments, and patient responses to interventions.
• Maintains safety standards and communicates with families about care and plans.
• Participates in discharge planning and coordination of referrals as appropriate.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment in delegating assignments and guiding the care team.
