Qualifikationen

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status using nursing process.
• Assess the patient’s psychosocial health status and support needs.
• Identify patient outcomes and develop measurable goals.
• Formulate and prioritize the plan of care with coordination of resources.
• Implement the plan safely and reassess as needed; provide emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team members in care planning and treatment.
• Perform skin care and wound/decubitus management (Grade I–IV).
• Administer medications accurately and safely; educate patients and family.
• Engage in patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Perform related duties as required.
