• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
• BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Assesses patient’s psychosocial health status.
• Identifies patient outcome and develops plan of care.
• Implements plan of care and coordinates with team.
• Maintains safety through monitoring and documentation.
• Evaluates care provided and measures outcomes.
• Collaborates with care team and delegates tasks as needed.
• Performs skin care and Decubitus care as applicable.
• Administers medications correctly and safely.
• Participates in patient and family education.
