Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. You will deliver direct patient care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and help coordinate care across shifts to achieve optimal outcomes.

Candidates must hold an active RN license, meet education requirements, and demonstrate commitment to patient safety, compassionate care, and continuous learning through evidence-based practice and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Must have current and valid RN license for the assigned location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation at Hackensack Meridian Health.
• Ability to learn quickly, accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and strong patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team for diverse patients.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities with nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate, and oversee care provided by other caregivers.
