Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following evidence-based policies and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, peers and support services.
• Document care and patient status using bar-scanning and digital systems.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Uphold competencies and participate in ongoing education and certifications.
