Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in Nursing required.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to pursue within 3 years of hire.
• Active RN license to work at the assigned Hackensack Meridian Health location.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• 6+ months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, patient-focused care, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of patients.
• Direct and oversee care by delegating, validating, evaluating, and coordinating.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
