Job summary

Requirements include an Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma; BSN in progress within three years; six months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program; and a current RN license and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma is the minimum.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and work effectively in a team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a specified patient population as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate and coordinate care provided by other caregivers.
