Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate comprehensive nursing care for residents in a Michigan facility. You will assess conditions, plan treatments, and work with physicians and unit managers to meet goals.

Responsibilities include medication administration, care plan development, CNA supervision, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for daily reporting and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop Care Plans, documenting observations.
• Make rounds with physicians to monitor symptoms and adjust care as needed.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care for residents.
• Administer medications and monitor for contraindications, reporting changes to the nurse in charge.
• Coordinate supplies, schedule appointments, and document in the patient record.
• Supervise CNAs and assist with resident bathing, feeding, and mobility as needed.
• Complete weekly and discharge summaries and participate in quality improvement activities.
