Job summary

Intersect Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will perform assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

You will administer medications, monitor resident conditions, and supervise CNAs while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make rounds with physician; observe symptoms and adjust interventions.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications and monitor for contraindications.
• Coordinate supplies, appointments, and documentation.
• Oversee CNAs and assist with resident care duties.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain records.
