Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift in a Michigan long-term care facility. You will coordinate total nursing care, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role includes documenting care plans, rounds with physicians, administering medications, and reporting resident status daily. The ideal candidate holds a Michigan RN license, CPR certification, and has 2+ years of LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop Care Plans with documentation in PCC.
• Perform rounds with physicians; monitor symptoms and interventions.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications and notify staff of contraindications.
• Coordinate supplies, appointments, and documentation of care.
• Monitor CNA assistance and resident comfort; report changes to DON.
