Job summary

Intersect Healthcare in Michigan seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to assess, plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and coordinate staff development programs for the assigned building. You will also perform clinical tasks and assist in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance training, documenting training, and monitoring performance. The role requires nursing licensure, CPR certification, and experience in long-term care, with a focus on competency

Qualifications

• RN licensed with current certification and CE compliance.
• Minimum 3 years nursing, with at least 1 year in long-term care.
• One year of instructional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance training and education per Company Code of Conduct.
• Complete documentation for all training per requirements.
• Monitor employee performance and address compliance issues.
• Develop orientation for new, rehired and contract staff.
• Coordinate OSHA/Risk Management program and budgeting support.
• Provide hands-on clinical orientation to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Conduct or coordinate new employee job training, and CPR training.
• Assess resident needs and train staff accordingly.
• Ensure clinical competency through observed skills and annual assessments.
• Travel as needed or assigned.
