Qualifications

• Current Idaho RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.

• PALS recommended; telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy across age groups.
• Assess and reassess pain; educate patient and family on pain management.
• Adjust plan of care based on patient response to treatment and daily evaluation.
• Perform point-of-care glucometer testing per unit policies.
• Interpret lab results and notify providers as needed.
• Provide patient care in line with age-specific standards of care.
• Knowledge of medication administration appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Follow five medication rights; use electronic scanning where required.
• Educate patients and families; document learning outcomes.
• Assist physicians with procedures and provide services requiring technical skills.
