Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, ensuring care meets psychosocial, physical, and general needs across hospital settings.

The role requires collaboration with providers and team members, and adherence to nursing and hospital policies. Responsibilities include comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, pain management, medication administration, and teaching plans for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Idaho required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of accredited RN program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering direct and indirect nursing care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to providers and team.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments as per policy.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients and families.
• Support physicians during procedures and provide care appropriate to age and condition.

Education

RN licensure in Idaho

Graduate of accredited RN program

Current BLS

ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire

Dysrhythmia class with 84%+ within 6 months
