Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in a hospital setting, communicating with physicians and staff about changes in patient condition and test results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current, unencumbered Idaho RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS completion required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and re-assessments per policy.
• Assess and manage patient pain; educate patient and family.
• Revise care plans based on patient response and daily evaluation.
• Perform point-of-care glucometer testing per policies.
• Interpret waived test results and take appropriate actions.
• Provide patient care appropriate to age and clinical condition.
• Follow five medication rights to minimize errors.
• Assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills.
• Develop and evaluate teaching plans with family involvement.
