Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care Adult Trauma Step Down Unit, 5 East, to deliver high-quality patient care.

This full-time role requires strong skills in trauma care and telemetry, with rotating shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a, rotating weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualifying experience.

You will collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, PT/OT, WOCN and social work to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or pursuing accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers either current or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute trauma step-down nursing care on a 34-bed unit.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, PT/OT, WOCN and social work.
• Maintain telemetry monitoring and patient safety throughout shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
