Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Acute Care RN for the Trauma Step Down Unit, 5 East. Join a high-volume Level One Trauma Center with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team to deliver patient-centered care.

This role offers a rotating shift schedule (7a–7p/7p–7a) with weekends and holidays rotation, a qualifying sign-on bonus up to $10,000, robust benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a public employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Current BLS healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing on Trauma Step Down Unit 5 East.
• Monitor patients with IVs and telemetry.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, and other care teams.

Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Primary Patient Population

• Trauma

• 34 beds (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
