Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Spring, TX is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide care for employees and dependents at the on-site Health Center. Hours are 7:45am to 4:15pm, Monday through Friday, offering work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS is required.
• BSN from a four-year college is preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required; ACLS may be required depending on site.
• At least three years of ER or occupational health clinic RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further evaluation and care.
• Perform tests and treatments as defined by contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and patient health records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Spring, TX. The scheduled hours are 7:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday. Great opportunity for work/life balance!

What You'll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
