Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Health Center in Kingsport, TN. You will provide client employee care with strong phlebotomy skills, following-site protocols and infection control standards.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, 3+ years of ER/occupational health or ambulatory care experience, and ability to work varied shifts across two-week schedules. A BSN is preferred, with comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits and a 401(k) match offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in practice state.
• Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification; ACLS may be required per site contract.
• Three years RN experience in ER/occupational health or ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for further care.
• Conduct and document tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, environment, and infection control standards.
• Maintain and update patient health records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located inKingsport, TN.
The scheduled hours are: Week 1: Monday, 8-6, Tuesday, 9:30-5, Wednesday, 9-4:30, Thursday, 8-4.
Week 2: Monday, 7-5:30, Tuesday, 7-4, Thursday, 7-6, Friday, 7-2:30, Saturday, 8-1. Strong phlebotomy skills are required.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
