Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to client employees at our Health Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role is scheduled for 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with two days and later start times as contracted.

The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate with physicians, maintain records, and educate patients on health promotion, within the site contract scope. Wisconsin licensure is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required based on contract scope.
• BSN preferred and COHN/COHN-S or Emergency Nursing may be required for some sites.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and provide nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare practitioners for further care.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments per site contract.
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope of practice.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and patient records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Green Bay, WI.

This position will be scheduled as a full time position at 30 hours per week M-F. Will be 2 days with later hours, but will allow for a later start time.

What You'll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
