Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to care for client employees and dependents at our health center in Newberry, MI. The role features a 30-hour workweek with daytime hours and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will perform nursing evaluations, administer medications, support wellness events, and maintain records. A state RN license plus BLS/ACLS may be required, with BSN preferred and three years of ER/occupational health experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required by contract.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational health.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs, perform nursing evaluations and care within scope.
• Collaborate with physicians for further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document tests, screenings and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, ensure a clean, safe environment and infection control.
• Maintain patient health records and educate patients on health promotion.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to clientemployees and their dependents in ourHealth Center located in Newberry, MI.

The scheduled hours are30 hours per week Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8a-3p, Tuesday 11a-6p and Thursday 10a-5p with 1-hour scheduled lunches each day.

• Enjoy a consistent 30-hour/week schedule that promotes strong work/life balance, with no weekends and daytime weekday hours.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a single-nurse outpatient clinic, supporting both RN-only visits and virtual provider appointments.
• Manage a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities including patient care, scheduling, referral follow-up, and general clinic operations
• Build meaningful relationships with employees and dependents while supporting onsite wellness events, patient education, and client engagement activities.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
