Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for employees and dependents at our Hillsboro, OR Health Center. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a focus on urgent care, wellness visits, and preventive screenings.

You will assess patients, perform tests, document findings, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians. A valid state RN license and BLS are required, with BSN preferred and ACLS possible depending on contract scope.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope
• Three years RN experience in ER or occupational health/ambulatory care
• COHN/COHN-S or related certifications preferred
• BSN preferred; ASN/ADN acceptable with experience

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and conduct nursing evaluations
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care
• Perform and document medical tests and screenings (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope of practice
• Maintain medical equipment and infection control procedures
• Maintain patient health records accurately
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care
• Perform other duties as assigned

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Hillsboro, OR. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
