Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Health Center in Helena, MT. You will provide direct care to client employees and dependents, with a schedule Monday–Thursday 8:00am–6:00pm and Friday 8:00am–12:00pm, promoting work-life balance.

The role requires an RN license in the state, BLS certification, and 3+ years in ER or occupational health. A BSN and COHN/COHN-S are preferred; a $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Hands-on BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S preferred and may be required for some sites.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational health settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical care as needed.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments per contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and patient health records; educate patients.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Helena, MT. The scheduled hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm. Great opportunity for work/life balance!

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
