Premise Health Inc. in New York, NY seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse to triage and assess emergent needs and provide care within a fluid schedule. Hours vary 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday–Friday.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and 3+ years of RN experience in ER or occupational health. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS degree; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S or Emergency Nursing/Case Management certification preferred.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational/ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs, perform nursing evaluations and provide care within scope.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, ensure a clean environment and infection control.
• Maintain patient health records and ensure accuracy.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As aFull Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in New York, NY. This role will triage/assess emergent walk-in needs while also working within a fluid nurse schedule. The scheduled hours may vary within 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic preferred
