Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for our Health Center in Frederick, MD. You will provide care to client employees, coordinate with physicians, and perform tests and treatments as defined by the site contract.

The role requires an RN license in the state of practice, BLS/ACLS certification, and at least 3 years of RN experience in ER or occupational health. On-site role with a strong focus on patient education and health promotion.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing certificate or AS; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required; ACLS may be required per contract.
• 3+ years as RN in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs and conducts nursing evaluations.
• Collaborates with physicians for further evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests and treatments per site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintains patient health records and infection control procedures.

As a Part Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Frederick, MD.

Schedule:

• Every other weekend; Saturday and Sunday 7:00a - 7:00p

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
