Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse at our New York, NY Health Center. You will triage walk-ins and manage a fluid schedule within 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday, delivering patient care and coordinating with physicians.

You will document visits, perform screenings and treatments per site contract, and educate patients on health promotion. A BSN is preferred and several certifications may be required depending on the contract scope.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in NY state
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope
• At least 3 years of ER/occupational health/ambulatory care experience
• BSN preferred but not required for all sites

As aFull Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in New York, NY. This role will triage/assess emergent walk-in needs while also working within a fluid nurse schedule. The scheduled hours may vary within 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $43.67 - $54.59 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
