Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Health Center in New Limerick, ME. The role features a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule, with additional shifts Tue/Thu hours.

You’ll deliver comprehensive care using TytoCare and Epic EMR while supporting employees and their families. You will perform nursing evaluations, assist physicians, conduct tests, administer medications, and educate patients on health promotion.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in state of practice required.
• Three years of RN experience in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required; COHN/COHN-S preferred in some sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care.
• Perform and document tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment and infection control practices.
• Maintain patient health records and educate on health promotion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in New Limerick, ME. The scheduled hours are Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 8:00AM - 3:00PM, Tuesday 11:00AM - 6:00PM & Thursday 10AM - 5:00PM

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $40.00- $48.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
