Job summary

Premise Health in Frederick, MD is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to deliver patient care at our on-site Health Center. You will assess needs, administer meds, perform tests, and collaborate with physicians in an occupational health setting.

The role features every-other weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7:00a-7:00p), competitive pay, a 401(k) with company match, wellness programs, EAP, and access to virtual primary and behavioral health services for team members and dependents.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do
