Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a professional to join the night shift nursing team on a full-time basis. The role involves providing age-specific resident care, administering medications, and performing treatments according to established protocols.

Applicants must hold an active license/registration/certification. A strong commitment to patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective communication during shift reports is essential.

Qualifications

• License, Registration and/or Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific resident care, procedures, and treatments.
• Complete routine tasks without supervision.
• Communicate resident information and care plans during shift reports.
• Administer medications according to the five rights and document accordingly.
• Perform treatments with sterile or clean technique.
• Administer external feedings when indicated.
• Represent the facility's mission and values through professional excellence.
• Complete care-related activities within scheduled shift times.
• Support reassignments to optimize resident care.
• Report care problems and propose solutions to nursing management.

New Rate Starting at $42/hr Up To $47/hr \"salary adjustment based on years of experience\" w/Diff Weekdays Eve $1 & Nights $5 & Weekends Days $1 Eve $2 Nights $8

Functions

• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.


• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of supervision.


• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.


• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.


• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.


• Accurately administers external feedings.


• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center through professional excellence.


• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.


• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.


• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.


• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
