Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a full-time nurse for Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Belmont, MA to cover 11pm-7am shifts, weekends.

Qualifications

• Nursing license or certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to administer medications and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care and treatments.
• Communicate plan of care at handoffs.
• Administer medications per five rights and document.
• Perform treatments with sterile/clean technique.
• Complete care activities within shift.
• Adapt to reassignments to support resident care.
• Report problems and propose solutions to nursing leadership.
• Delegate care tasks appropriately to staff.

Functions

• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.


• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of supervision.


• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.


• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.


• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.


• Accurately administers external feedings.


• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center through professional excellence.


• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.


• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.


• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.


• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
