Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking dedicated nursing staff for the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am, including weekends. The role involves providing age-appropriate care, administering medications, and documenting plans of care with accuracy and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Incorporates age-specific needs, procedures, and treatments.
• Accurately completes routine tasks without supervision.
• Communicates resident information and plan of care during shifts and handoffs.
• Administers medications according to five rights and documents accordingly.
• Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique.
• Manages external feedings as prescribed.
• Supports mission and values through professional excellence.
• Completes care activities within shift timeframes; cooperates with reassignments as needed.

Functions

• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.


• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of supervision.


• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.


• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.


• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.


• Accurately administers external feedings.


• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center through professional excellence.


• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.


• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.


• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.


• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
