Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Belmont, MA is seeking a dedicated nurse for a full-time night shift (11pm-7am) with weekend duties. Starting pay is $42/hr, up to $47/hr, with an experience-based adjustment. Weekday evenings add $1 and nights add $5; weekend adjustments of $1-$8 apply.

License/Certification is required; care of residents, medication administration accuracy, and documentation are emphasized. The facility offers premium pay, strong benefits, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
• Accurately completes routine tasks without supervision.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.
• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.
• Accurately administers external feedings.
• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center through professional excellence.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.
• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.
• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
