Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist at St. Anne Hospital to perform breast imaging and DEXA scans under physician supervision, following ARRT, ACR, MQSA guidelines.

You will support radiologists, document histories, and educate patients while maintaining safety standards. Requires ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification, mammography registration, and BLS; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Advanced mammography registration with ARRT (preferred, or within 1 year)
• State Licensure (preferred)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire)
• 1 year experience as a registered mammography technologist (preferred)

Aufgaben

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures with aseptic technique.
• Correlates clinical history with procedures and documents information.
• Operates breast imaging equipment and selects appropriate exposure factors.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Provides patient education and discharge instructions.
• Participates in department quality assessments and improvement plans.
