Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist (Harmonized) to perform breast imaging and DEXA procedures in line with ARRT and MQSA guidelines. You will work under a supervising physician to deliver high-quality exams and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required
• Advanced Mammography modality registration preferred or to be obtained within 1 year
• State licensure preferred depending on state
• BLS certification required at hire for Roper St Francis Healthcare locations; preferred/required elsewhere
• 1 year experience as a licensed mammography technologist preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures with aseptic technique
• Correlates clinical history with procedures and documents for licensed provider
• Selects and operates breast imaging equipment and exposure factors
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure
• Provides patient education and discharge instructions
