Job summary

Bon Secours Health System in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging per ARRT, ACR, and MQSA guidelines. Responsibilities include screening, diagnostic, invasive, and DEXA scans, with supervision by a radiologist.

Requires ARRT registration, preferred advanced modality registration within 1 year, and BLS. 1 year experience preferred; PACS/RIS proficiency beneficial; EPIC EHR preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
• ARRT registration in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Advanced mammography modality registration preferred or within 1 year
• State licensure preferred
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hire for certain locations)

Responsibilities

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures ensuring aseptic technique and consent.
• Correlates clinical history with procedure and documents information for licensed provider.
• Selects and operates breast imaging equipment to achieve quality results.
• Applied radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Provides patient education and discharge instructions.
• Participates in quality assessments and improvement plans.
