Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, Colorado seeks an experienced leader for Patient Services within the Culinary Service department. The role oversees daily operations, collaborates with nursing, and drives clinical best practices for exceptional patient meals at responsible costs.

The position requires a Registered Dietitian with leadership experience, strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, and a track record in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management required.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
• ServSafe certification required by first day of work in UT/ID states; must obtain within 90 days if not current.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets.
• Ensures dietary orders are followed per provider orders.
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver safe, cost-effective care.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensures compliance with food safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
