Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, Colorado, seeks a Registered Dietitian to lead the patient meal services within the Culinary Service department. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work (state dependent).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with word processing, advanced spreadsheets, databases, internet/email, scheduling tools, and tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to meet patients’ needs and ensure guideline adherence.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets.
• Manages hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and discipline.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and satisfaction scores and drives improvements.
