Intermountain Health in Denver, CO, seeks a seasoned leader to manage Patient Services within the hospital Culinary Service department. The role drives daily operations, partners with nursing, and trains staff on therapeutic diets to ensure high-quality patient meals.

The position requires regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, and cost-conscious service delivery while fostering accountable teams and excellent patient experiences.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work.
• ServSafe certification obtained within 90 days of hire date if not current.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Demonstrated highly effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees daily patient meal service operations.
• Educates with nursing to meet patient needs and follow guidelines.
• Leads meal areas and trains on therapeutic diets.
• Coordinates with frontline caregivers to ensure diets followed per orders.
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver care at appropriate cost.
• Provides value-based leadership to establish high functioning teams.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, discipline, and termination.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and patient satisfaction scores.
• Collaborates with system-level directors to achieve outcomes.
• Works with clinical team on diet orders and concerns.
