Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day (Utah/Idaho).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to educate and ensure diet guidelines.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets.
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver care cost-effectively.
• Manages HR functions: hiring, training, mentoring, evaluation, discipline, termination.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and patient satisfaction scores.
• Collaborates with system-level directors on outcomes.
• Coordinates with clinical team on diet orders and concerns.
