Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh at the John J Kane Regional Center - Scott. You will identify and assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance residents' quality of life in line with goals.

You will provide nutrition education to staff and residents, adhere to regulatory standards, and work with other departments to improve dining services and nutrition processes.

Qualifications

• Pass the CDR national exam or meet eligibility requirements.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of quality improvement programs.
