Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. In this role you will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to support status, and collaborate with the health care team to improve quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You will educate patients, staff, and consultants, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and participate in quality

Qualifications

Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility requirements.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
Licensed or certified per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies relating to dining and nutrition.
Actively participate in developing and evaluating quality improvement programs.
